Who We Are

Christ the Redeemer Reformed Episcopal Church, Owensboro, KY, is a traditional Anglican parish. We cherish the Word read and preached, and the sacraments given for grace. We confess the faith of Jesus Christ crucified, buried, risen, ascended and coming again as expressed in the Apostles', Nicene and Athanasian Creeds, the historic ecumenical councils of the ancient, undivided Church and the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion.

For over 130 years the Reformed Episcopal Church has remained faithful to the inerrant word of God, powerfully proclaiming the unchanging Gospel of Jesus Christ and worshiping Him in Spirit and in Truth using the biblical and historic Book of Common Prayer. For complete information on the REC, please visit www.rechurch.org.

Christ the Redeemer is a “mission parish,” a church planting effort of the Reformed Episcopal Church, under the supervision of our bishop, the Right Rev. Peter Manto. Our vicar is the Rev. David Goodwin. Fr. David is married to Joyce, and they have two adult children and one adorable grand-daughter!
